❗️SFPA participated in #ShakeOut, the world’s largest earthquake drill, on October 10. ShakeOut drills provide an opportunity to practice how to stay safe during an earthquake, as they can strike anywhere—at home, work, school, or even while on vacation.
As part of the ShakeOut, we conducted a school-wide earthquake drill. Everyone practiced the “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” technique, and teachers discussed the importance of earthquake preparedness with students.
